The Higher Technical Teachers Training College / Ecole Normale Supérieure et Technique de (H.T.T.T.C / E.N.S.E.T) Bambili is a Government institution created to train teachers that would serve the country in facilitating learning in any part of the country where they are posted to as need be. It was created under the university of Bamenda as one of the schools sheltered by the institution.
All the information needed to enroll and write the competitive exam into this school is seen in the communique from the government of Cameroon signed from the prime minister's office on the 8thof June 2021 as order number 21-00344, and for the second cycle, it is seen on the communique signed from the same office on the 8th of June 2021 as order number 21-00347. A copy of this communique can be gotten from the internet by visiting the Ministry of Higher Education website called Ministre des Enseignement Superieur (M.I.N.E.S.U.P.).
After enrolling to write the exam, which is slated this year for the 25th of September 2021, adequate preparations are needed to write this exam, which involves visiting the past questions for your Department and being aware of the current issues within the country. To get copies of past questions for the entrance exam into H.T.T.T.C, you should visit any vendors often sitting under umbrellas along E.N.S. street or visit any documentation offering such services around the university campus. You can also get past questions for your Department's exam from the internet posted by some random individuals.

Advantages of Gaining admission into H.T.T.T.C. Bambili
The advantages of getting into H.T.T.T.C. are many, with other advantages of being a civil servant in Cameroon. These advantages include:
l After you gain access into the university of Bamenda, which houses H.T.T.T.C. Bambili, instead of paying a tuition fee, you get to pay a registration fee of 50,000FCFA, which can be paid per semester, 25,000FCFA per semester during the 3 years for the first cycle and 2 years for the second cycle to have the corresponding diploma.
l After completing the 3 years training program offered by the school for the first cycle, or the 2 years program offered for the second cycle, you get a diploma called the Secondary School Teacher's Diploma, commonly called by the French acronym, First Cycle Technical School Teacher Diploma also called Diplôme de Professeur de l'enseignement Technique 1er grade (D.I.P.E.T. I) for the first cycle and a Second Cycle Technical School Teacher Diploma also called Diplôme de Professeur de l'enseignement Technique 2eme grade (D.I.P.E.T. II) for the second cycle. These diplomas should count as an added advantage when looking for part-time jobs as a teacher or administrator in other education-oriented institutions within the country.
l Thirdly and most importantly, gaining entrance into H.T.T.C. Bambili offers you a job automatically upon completion of the 3 years program offered in the institution's first cycle. This seems to be the main reason why many graduates and High school leavers prefer to enroll in the competitive exams into this school in large numbers.
l One qualifies after the 2 years or 3 years of study in T.T.T.T.C. Bambili depending on the cycle you entered to teach in technical secondary schools as a classroom teacher with a maximum working hours load of 18 hours posted to work as a technician in any government institution. This gives the teacher enough time to get involved with other beneficial activities like part-time in other institutions or starting a small business to supplement their monthly salary from the government of Cameroon.
l Being enrolled in H.T.T.T.C. Bambili means that you have the opportunity to meet more government officials and build relationships that may be of great importance in the future. Also, a good portfolio will earn you recognition by the state's powers that may earn you grants and even awards for a job well done.
l Being a graduate from H.T.T.C Bambili makes you automatically a civil servant after submitting all the necessary documents, making you entitled to a monthly salary until your day of retirement when you start receiving a retirement benefit, which is one-third of your normal salary monthly. This puts you at a greater disposition to collect huge sums of money loans, which can be used to invest in a lucrative business for greater returns.
l Being a civil servant also puts you in a position to better plan your future, especially your retirement, to be as comfortable as possible during your old age.
l The last and not the least advantage of gaining admission into H.T.T.C. Bambili is that it builds in you the spirit of patriotism that is beneficial to you and the country as a whole.
The main difference between H.T.T.C. and H.T.T.T.C is that a graduate from the former was trained to be a classroom teacher or administrator while a graduate from the later was trained to be a Technician mainly, though he/she may find his/herself in the classroom or an office as an administrator.
Finally, because it's a competitive exam, some people are supposed not to make it. If you, unfortunately, fall within this group, I urge you to take heart and continue with your education while trying the exam again the next launching season. Better still, you can invest your money in a small business while waiting for the next launch so that you can run the business while teaching, which is allowed.
