TECNO Camon 17 Pro was launch on the 18^th of May 2021. It comes with 8GB of RAM, 256 GB of internal storage. 48MP selfie camera. It's the clearest selfie camera, according to TECNO. The primary camera is a 64MP camera; the display has a 90Hz refresh rate with an IPS LCD screen. It has a 5,000 mAh battery with a 25 watts fast charger, and powering this device is the Mediatek Helio G95 Processor. The TECNO Camon 17 Pro is packing some serious specs. When you buy a TECNO Camon 17 Pro, you get a free set of earbuds. The earbuds are called the TECNO Buds 1; they are super easy to connect to your smartphone. They sound really good, and they look very modern and fashionable. They look very familiar.

Now for the Build Quality, The TECNO Camon 17 Pro has a Plastic Frame. Moreover, the edge of this smartphone is easy to hold thanks to the 3.5D rear design.

TECNO Camon 17 Pro is drop resistant. What about water resistance?, it doesn't have an official IP rating; when you take out the dual sim card tray and memory card slot, you'll see a gasket that helps keep water out of this smartphone. All I know is when I submerge in water, and nothing happened, so that's a plus.

As for the Display, it doesn't seem to be protected with Corning Gorilla Glass. So, as always, I'll advise you to get a plastic screen protector to make this smartphone drop-resistant properly.

Switching to the front, it has a 48MP front-facing camera. The TECNO Camon 17 Pro comes with a 6.8 inch IPS LCD Panel with a Resolution of 1080P X 2460 Pixels for the display. The display has a refresh rate of 90Hz and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz. It is a bright display with peak brightness at 500 nits, and using this smartphone outdoors shouldn't be a problem. Like I said earlier, it is a 1080P display, so watching movies on it is enjoyable thanks to the large display and the dual stereo speakers. However, TECNO should have consider using AMOLED display on the TECNO Camon 17 Pro; considering the price of this device, that would have helped in marketing this smartphone.

The Mediatek Helio G95 Processor powers the Tecno Camon 17 pro., it is bloody fast! It is faster than the Samsung Galaxy A52 with the Snapdragon 720G processor and, in some cases, faster than the Redmi Note 10 Pro with the Snapdragon 732G Processor. I know benchmark results don't translate to how smartphones perform in the real world, but I feel this smartphone will take down the Redmi note 10 pro in terms of performance.

For multitasking, the TECNO Camon 17 Pro comes with 8GB of RAM. Multitasking isn't an issue for this smartphone. It can hold a lot of apps in the background and retain them, unlike some other smartphones. For gaming, the TECNO Camon 17 Pro comes with the Mali G76 GPU, which helps render graphics-intensive games. For example, it played PUBG at HD Graphics and High Frame rate.

Gethin Impact played at high graphics settings that I wasn't exacting, but the phone did get warm. It just shows how well optimized the Mediatek Helio G95 processor and the Mali G72 GPU is.

For the Operating system, the Tecno Camon 17 Pro is running on Android 11 with hios v7.6.0. Apart from the standard features available on other smartphones, it has peek proof, a privacy feature that makes it hard for someone next to you to see your screen.
